Based on the research from the New York Times bestselling book, "Happy for No Reason," by Marci Shimoff, you’ll learn the seven keys to creating happiness from the inside out, plus practical tools and exercises that you or your community can start using from our first session onward.
Attendees learn about the Happiness Set-Point, which works like a thermostat to keep our level of happiness fairly static, unless we do something about it. We discuss our “Home for Happiness,” a metaphor for the 7 areas that impact our happiness and what we can do to increase our set-point in each area, and they learn the habits that will help them be Happy for No Reason, inner happiness that doesn’t depend on circumstances.
Lectures, Classes, and Corporate Trainings can be designed to fit your needs. For senior communities, a 4-part, weekly series (consecutive or every other week) of 60-minute lectures allows the information to be learned in digestible increments, while your residents build their happiness habits.
